HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED AT HOME

Finding yourself struggling with WFH?
We've put together some tips that help us stay motivated at home!
SET ALARMS / HOURS

Before you start working from home, plan out your hours for the next day to avoid procrastination. Set an alarm to wake up so you're up at the normal time you would be starting work. Give yourself time to get dressed, have a shower and allow time for a lunch break. Now seize the day!

 

PLAN YOUR DAY / SCHEDULE

We love planning our day out by writing in a journal / diary and putting together a to do list to hold ourselves accountable for what needs to be done today. Try and stick to business as usual keeping office hours normal and keeping your phone on Do not Disturb.

 

-Get plenty of natural light.
-Go on walks.
-Take mental breaks.
-Keep a routine.
-Spruce up your home desk.
-Sit in a chair rather than getting too comfortable and relaxed on the couch.

-Don't work where you sleep
-Get ready like you’re going to the office.
-Pace yourself.

-Make a to do list.
-Hold yourself accountable.

 

Last but not least! Remember to switch off, take time out for yourself and make sure you have a routine that marks the end of your day!
